This fast-tracked project was the largest laboratory project in my firm at the time. This 3 building campus was a fully functioning pharmaceutical laboratory. Facilities included cGMP manufacturing, quality test labs, warehouse, offices, and supporting utilities. The warehouse used cutting edge technology to house large amounts of temperature regulated product. This freezer warehouse was a first for both architect and consultants, and was a core element of the project. The innovations that were integrated into the project won the campus three (3) Green Globes certifications, first place in the 2016 American Concrete Institute awards, and the 2015 Construction Use Roundtable CISE Safety Excellence Award for US projects.
